We all know that being quarantined is not how anyone pictured spending these last few months as a high schooler. But it has opened my eyes even more to something we all already knew – the class of 2020 at Acalanes is special. The fact that I have made new friends even during this time speaks volumes. Throughout my time at Acalanes, I have been met with nothing but kindness and support from my peers. Everyone hears stories about how tough high school culture can be, but our class is truly unique. We have the smartest, most creative, inclusive, and genuine people I have ever met. I get compliments on behalf of our grade all the time about how everyone seems to be friends with everyone, and how people wish that their grade or school was more like ours. I am so proud to be part of a class that is filled with people who have the maturity and wisdom to value things that have deep meaning. I want to express some love and appreciation for the class of 2020. I had the best four years I could have asked for, and I can't thank everyone enough for making this chapter of my life such a profound experience. This class has the potential to make an impact on the world, and I can't wait to see it happen.
