Quarantine has made me much more grateful for everything in my life. I feel so lucky that I was able to spend the time that I did on the Acalanes campus, especially with the class of 2020. The class of 2020 has some of the best people I have ever met. They are kind, spirited, hardworking, fun and determined. That can be shown through our homecoming wins or the amazing schools that people will be attending. It was never difficult to feel the love that our class had for each other, but quarantine has shown me that there is no shortage of love. Our class is bonded closer than ever right now. Quarantine gave everyone the time they needed to let it fully sink in that we are seniors and more things are going to change very soon. From now on, the class of 2020 will never take for granted the time that they spend with friends, classmates, or just a normal school day. As cheesy as this quote is, it is one that I have always remembered, and I feel like it works well for the hard goodbye we all had to say too early: "How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." - Winnie the Pooh. I will miss and love Acalanes and the class of 2020 forever. Go Dons.
